Uniplyt is the only company in Ukraine that manufactures fiberboard using a wet type production technique. We use only water in wood fiber transportation and mat formation. Therefore, Uniplyt fiberboard does not contain any synthetic and harmful resins (like urea-formaldehyde or phenol-formaldehyde) and has a class of emission E0.
Uniplyt’s fiberboard plant is located in Ivano-Frankivsk region, in Western Ukraine. Our sawmilling operations provide for the majority of the materials for our fiberboard panels. This enables us to maintain a constant supply of sawdust and deliver the most consistent quality panels in the market.
Uniplyt fiberboard panels are composed of 100% softwoods that have a consistent light sandy color. The purity and elongated fibers associated with this material allow for deep, detailed profiling and smooth machining for easier and better finishing.
At Uniplyt plant, our press produces a uniform density; face to face, edge to edge, sheet after sheet. This flat density profile results in machined surfaces that laminate, paint, stain and wrap easily and consistently. Our facilities operate high quality equipment and controls in order to ensure our fiberboard panels meet the strictest of quality control standards.
An added benefit of Uniplyt panels is the light color of the fiberboard that reduces color show-through, when painting, resulting in significantly longer tool life and a beautiful finish.

Fiberboard resists marring, scuffing and abrasion, as well as changes in temperature and humidity. Hardboard can be cut, routed, shaped and drilled with standard woodworking tools. In addition, hardboard can be securely glued or fastened with screws, staples or nails. Hardboard panels can be laminated with paper overlays, plastic laminates and veneers.
