Carpathian Tram

Discover the magic of Ukraine's only operational narrow-gauge railway!

A journey on the Carpathian Tram from the colorful village of Vyhoda is a legendary eco-route that captivates from the first glance and stays in your heart forever. There's no big-city rush here: a small, cozy train will take you unhurriedly along mysterious mountain trails and protected woodlands inaccessible by ordinary car. The route runs through the wild and stunningly picturesque Gorgany mountains, where the slopes rise right up against the tracks and centuries-old coniferous forests rustle overhead. You'll cross historic railway bridges built during Austro-Hungarian times more than a century ago and see with your own eyes a unique natural landmark — the protected «Shyrkovets» bog.

The program of this journey is thought through to the smallest detail, so every visitor — young and old — feels the genuine, sincere hospitality of this land. Throughout the trip, you'll enjoy engaging, witty, and informative stories from a guide who will introduce you to the history of the Boyko region, local legends, and railway secrets.

Several stops await you at the most beautiful locations along the route. You can rest by the famous rapids of the Mizunka river, where crystal mountain water foams and roars over cascades like a natural jacuzzi. There's also a stop at the «Dzyurkach» spring with healing mineral water, and a chance to try traditional local treats and Carpathian herbal teas. This trip delivers an incredible energy boost, fresh mountain air, and vivid memories for both adults and children.
