Our production is increasingly aligned with environmental standards: rational use of raw materials, waste minimisation and safe production technologies. We implement methods that reduce the environmental impact of our work. Production waste is either recycled or used to meet energy needs.

Wood from responsible sources

Raw materials for our production come exclusively from suppliers operating under sustainable forestry. The entire supply chain has been certified to FSC® C112264 (Forest Stewardship Council, Chain of Custody) since 2012. This means the supplier is obligated to reforest after harvesting, and we are obligated not to accept wood from unclear or questionable sources.

Independent verification is carried out by the accredited audit company Preferred by Nature. The latest re-assessment was completed in 2022, and the certificate is valid until October 2027.

Production without formaldehyde resins

Our flagship product — wet-process fiberboard — is manufactured without added synthetic resins or adhesives. The bonding agent is natural lignin, which is already present in the wood itself and is activated under pressure and temperature.

As a result, our board does not release formaldehyde into indoor air. Emission is ≤ 0.062 mg/m³ — half the class E1 limit. Furniture and interior finishes made from our fiberboard are safe for nurseries, bedrooms and any room where people spend extended time.

Closed-loop waste cycle

Our production waste does not end up in landfills and is not burned «into the sky». Sawdust from the sawmills, offcuts and off-grade timber are processed into RUF fuel briquettes — a separate product line with its own buyers, not a throwaway by-product.

Process water required for wet-process fiberboard manufacturing passes through our own industrial-capacity treatment facilities. The facilities were built in the 1970s together with the factory and have been modernised alongside the production lines ever since.
